Stu and Jayne Zehngut are the owners of L. A. Art Exchange. Moving to Los Angeles from Arizona and Ohio over 30 years ago, they consider themselves California natives. They have worked together to establish a premier custom framing facility. For over 25 years at the same location, their vision has been to provide the Santa Monica and greater Los Angeles area a unique retail experience based upon uncompromising service, superior product quality and competitive pricing. Through their education, training and vendor relationships, L. A. Art Exchange maintains state of the art machinery, finest quality materials and cutting edge frame styles.
Aixa Salazar has a passion for art. Growing up in a family of artists, and being an artist herself, she has developed a keen eye for design and color. She also has a background in art restoration which helps in advising clients in the proper way to frame their valuable art. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Her goal is to make the framing experience fun.
Kellie Kawahara has a degree in Art History from The University of San Francisco. She doodled as a child but does not consider herself an artist by trade. She has a love and appreciation of art. Her passion is to preserve art and keepsakes for future generations. Her ultimate goal is to work as a conservator. In her spare time she is an avid golfer.
Matthew Kalin spent most of his time drawing, creating art, and building as an adolecent. He has a degree in Industrial Design from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids Michigan. His passion is product design and he enjoys seeing the transformation of an artpiece, from conception to completion.
